Our summer wardrobes are defined by the kind of dresses we can throw on with sandals without thinking – one's that feel chic at a moment's notice. That’s what we love about this gingham sun dress, which is made with a tiered skirt in breezy cotton and is shirred across the back for stretchy comfort. Its thick straps conceal a bra, and it has practical pockets as an added bonus.

<span itemprop="description">Wore/washed dress a couple of times before realising not black, as advertised, but navy (easy to see when comparing to the black care label and black stitching in sunlight). I specifically looked for a black gingham dress as my sandals, handbags and cardigans are black.
Customer services offered a refund, if worn dress returned, but I can’t be bothered tbh and just for it to be sent to landfill, as can’t be resold.
Otherwise fit and style lovely.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I really loved the fabric of this dress and wanted to love it on but sadly it made me look top heavy. I have broad shoulders and I think the straps sat in the wrong place. Returned but will be looking out for the same fabric in a different design.</span>

I’m a size 12 with a 34f bust and take a size m in Hush with ‘normal’ size hips. Tried to re-order in a 12 but it was sold out!</span>
